Inspired by Mountains
Crafted with altitude and rooted in the mountains that surround us.
Our Story
Old Sun Knits began in the backcountry of the mountains of Northwestern Montana. Inspired by the beauty of the area, as well as the weather, Old Sun Knits has evolved from a girl by a campfire with a pair of knitting needles to a full fledged knit shop, specializing quality yarns. Old Sun Knits strives to source high-quality yarn.

Glimmer was created for knitters who appreciate restraint as much as radiance. A soft cotton blend forms its foundation, while delicate paillettes and fine metallic accents catch the light like quiet stars. Knit on its own, Glimmer whispers with subtle shine and elegant texture. Held alongside another yarn, it transforms: adding depth, dimension, and a refined glow. Designed to elevate without overwhelming, Glimmer brings intention to every stitch, turning simple projects into something quietly luminous and undeniably special. Shine softly. Stitch boldly. Always Glimmer!
